On the collection module, when using the filters to add products, the Product Specification filter does not list the fields registered on the root category

• In a collection, on the "More" option, select the Product Specification filter
• A new field will open "Type a category"
• Try to find the root category

Use the other filters on the module, import the products through a spreadsheet, or add products individually on the UI
