The Marketplaces and Integrations page facilitates the connection and communication between marketplaces and sellers within the VTEX ecosystem, enabling new business and mutual growth for all involved. The page works as a catalog of companies interested in partnerships, allowing registration, search, and contact between marketplaces and sellers to sign their commercial agreements.

Among the marketplaces available, there are VTEX marketplaces and external marketplaces. Learn more about the difference between each terminology displayed in the Integration Type column.

Integration Type	Description
VTEX	These are the profiles of VTEX clients that chose to make their environment available for sellers to sell products.
External	Marketplaces that are not VTEX clients and did the integration, whether certified or partner.

Note that Marketplaces and Integrations is a tool that fosters contact between potential partners, yet it is not a mandatory step in becoming a VTEX marketplace. If you want to act as a VTEX marketplace, read the Marketplace strategies at VTEX.

To access the page, in the VTEX Admin, click Marketplace > Connections > Marketplaces and Integrations. On the page, you can see the recommended marketplaces to connect to and the complete list of all available or already connected marketplaces.

The table listing the marketplaces has the following columns:

Column	Description
Marketplace	Name of the marketplace available for integration. The icon will be displayed next to the names of the marketplaces certified by VTEX.
Industry	Indicates in which industry the marketplace operates.
Country	Indicates in which countries that marketplace operates.
Integration Type	Indicates whether the marketplace is External or VTEX.
Button	Connect Edit

You can use the search bar on the page to search by marketplace name or VTEX account name (the latter only for VTEX marketplaces). You can also combine filters or use them individually to get more accurate results.

To connect to an external marketplace, the seller needs to follow the steps below and check the Integration tutorials of the respective marketplace.

1. Click the marketplace you want.
2. Click the__ Connect__ button, and you will be redirected to the integration configuration page, where you will need to fill in the presented fields.
3. Click the Connect button.

To connect to one of the VTEX marketplaces, you need to contact VTEX to negotiate a partnership and wait for the marketplace to respond. Additionally, you must have an active Seller Profile.
When sending a message, provide all the information the marketplace needs for connecting to your business. We also suggest anticipating the questions or topics that might arise in a future meeting, for example.

See below how to contact a marketplace:

1. Click the marketplace you want.
2. Edit the message in the text field.
3. Click the Send Message button.

A success message will appear on the screen.

If the seller needs to contact the same marketplace again, repeat the steps above.

Once connected to a marketplace, you can edit the connection by following these steps:

1. Click the marketplace you want.
2. Click the Edit button.
3. Make the desired changes in the Settings field.
4. Click Save.
