Data Insights Agent is an artificial intelligence assistant designed to support sellers analyze their store data. It queries account databases in real time to identify trends, variations, and behavior patterns, providing insights that support decisions about performance and business operations.

Beta limitations

Data Insights Agent is currently in the testing phase. During this period, the feature has the following limitations:

  • Only order and session data can be queried.
  • Average response time is around 60 seconds.
  • Conversations are not saved.

How to use the assistant

To interact with the agent and start analyzing your store data, in the VTEX Admin, go to Dashboards > Data Insights Agent or type Data Insights Agent in the search bar. The page includes a conversation window and suggested questions to help you start an analysis with the assistant.

When you click one of the suggested questions, the assistant begins analyzing the data related to this request.

Below are some examples of possible analyses:

  • Total sales per period (day, week, month)
  • Sales comparison between periods
  • Number of orders and their progression over time
  • Average ticket per period
  • Conversion rate of visitors to buyers
  • Sessions by channel (organic, paid, or direct)
  • Best-selling products in the period
  • Products with the highest cart abandonment rate
  • Performance variation by category
  • Effect of promotions on specific products
  • Margin analysis by product
  • Impact of discount campaigns on sales
  • Comparison of sales with and without discounts
  • Analysis of coupons used
  • Evolution of the average discount applied
  • Purchase recurrence
  • Average time between purchases
  • Churn analysis (decline of active customers)
  • Abnormal drop or spike in sales
  • Unexpected variation in the average ticket
  • Abrupt changes in traffic or conversion
  • Errors in orders or transactions
  • Factors that most impact store performance

Whenever you want to start a new conversation, click the New conversation arrow at the top of the page.
