Defining mandatory fields in Master Data v1 forms

To change the fields that appear as mandatory in the Profile System of Master Data v1, follow the steps below:

  1. In the VTEX Admin, access Store Settings > Storefront > Master Data.
  2. Make sure that you are in the Applications tab.
  3. Click on the gear in Profile System.
  4. Click on the edit icon next to the form you want to configure.
  5. Click on Layout Schemas.
  6. Click on the edit icon in the line of the field you want to configure.
  7. In Advanced Field Settings, select Required form field.
  8. Click OK.
  9. Click Save.

The option can be changed whenever necessary.
